Monthly ophthalmology clinics are held in Cork, in the mornings at Riverview Veterinary Clinic in Carrigaline and in the afternoons at Animal Care Hospital, Douglas. The next dates are Tuesday 21st September, Tuesday 19th October, Tuesday 16th November and Tuesday 14th December. Appointments can only be made through referral with your own veterinary surgeon, please discuss this with them.

Competition

Dechra are running a competition, and the prize is attendance at the European Veterinary Ophthalmology conference on Friday 14th May in Malahide, Co Dublin. Bovine eye conditions, including enucleation techniques, and small animal eyelid disease are the topics on the day.

If you are a vet interesting in entering the competition, please write a 200 word case report on any eye case you have treated with Fucithalmic, and contact Dechra for information on how to submit it. lisa.isherwood@dechra.com

European Veterinary Ophthalmology Conference

This year, the European Veterinary Ophthalmology conference is taking place in Malahide, Co Dublin. It runs from Thursday 13th May to Sunday 16th May. There is an interesting varied programme.
