This is the first article in a series of two articles reviewing feline ophthalmology. This article focuses on examination of the eye. There is a short review of anatomy and feline vision. The equipment needed and examination procedures are discussed. Ancillary tests such as fluroescein staining and use of fluorescein are reviewed.
